SERC started organizing Seminars and Conferences since 1994 with Ministry of Steel, Government of India as well as all major and main steel companies. The seminars were organized on pertinent issues connected to steel and allied industry. With time, foreign companies willing to invest in India
and looking for a foothold in India, joined the seminar and utilized its platform to reach who's who of steel and allied industry.
Some of the seminars were ‘Utilization of Steel in Rural Development’, ‘Usage of Steel in Smart Cities’, etc. Understanding the requirement for other relevant subjects to be discussed, we have organized seminars on Infrastructure (Infrabuild), Investment, Skill Development, etc. along with consumption, technological aspects of steel production and marketing of steel products.

Small & Medium entrepreneurs who are playing an important role in Indian Steel Sector became an important sector to be addressed and highlighted through our seminars.
Steel Scenario Journal has organized a number of Meet and Greet events - Open House discussions, Role of MSMEs in technological Upgradation, in a number of cities. We have also started organizing press meets for steel and allied sectors.
